Do you think Robert Downey Jr. played a good Charlie Chaplin?

I think he is a good actor and played charlie chaplin perfectly. Cuz I%26#039;ve always been fascinated with chaplin and I was fascinated with downey playing him. Wow, he is very good.

Reply:I HATED %26#039;Less Than Zero%26#039;. Couldn%26#039;t see why they bothered to film it. However , the ONLY redeeming quality was Robert Downey, Jr. He%26#039;s always been good. The drug use was a setback, but he seems to be doing quite well now.

Reply:Downey made a great Chaplin. He knew the character, studied his films, his movements and got them down pat, then added his own talent into the mix. He had a little trouble capturing Chaplin%26#039;s voice, but he caught the essence of the public and private Chaplin very well. I can%26#039;t think of anyone else who could do better.
